Each year the Division One champion goes forward to represent the Thanet District in the County Competition. The County winner then enters the National Championships which, after inter-County and Regional matches, climax with the four teams reaching the semi-final stages playing at the Lords Indoor School to decide the National Indoor Champion.
The Thanet League has produced the National Champion once, Broadstairs in 1997, and a semi-finalist twice, Sandwich in 1994 and Broadstairs in 2000. In addition the County Championship has been won by a Thanet team on nine occasions.
